I believe deeply in the innate wisdom of the mind, body, and soul, and I honor the courage it takes to enter into the therapeutic process. Because of this, I place great importance on creating a safe, honest, and trusting relationship—one that supports you in feeling seen, heard, and genuinely supported throughout your journey. Whether we have sessions in my office, walking trail, or horse pasture, I hope you feel you enter into a warm, supportive and positive environment; one that securely holds space for you, your wounds and your healing. I’m passionate about supporting clients who are navigating the effects of both acute and ongoing experiences that have overwhelmed the nervous system—making everyday life feel more difficult. Together, we work toward helping you reconnect with and embody your most authentic, desired way of being.
I believe healing necessitates authentic connection- to self, to others and the space that holds us and so I value providing the opportunity to experience this in every session. Honoring that each person is unique, I tailor our work together using a foundation of warmth, genuineness, attunement and evidence-based practices. Drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches, I aim to meet you where you are and support your individual needs and goals. I offer in-person sessions in my Roseville office and outdoors in Lincoln and Loomis areas. I offer a limited number of virtual sessions to support flexibility and accessibility. Whenever possible, I recommend combining virtual sessions with in-person work, as this allows for deeper connection and fuller engagement in the experiential and somatic therapies I offer, such as Brainspotting, nature-based practices, and equine-assisted work.
Welcome—I'm so glad you're here.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #123134) with a deep passion for supporting individuals through healing, growth, and meaningful transformation. My therapeutic work is grounded in both professional training and personal experience, and I bring a warm, integrative, and trauma-informed approach to every session.
I hold a Bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University, a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Science from California State University, Sacramento, and a Master's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brandman University.
My work is deeply informed by Brainspotting, a powerful neuroexperiential therapy I use daily in my practice. I am a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner and Consultant, and have completed specialty trainings in:
I also actively assist in Brainspotting trainings and remain committed to ongoing education in this evolving modality, as I’ve witnessed—and personally experienced—the profound healing it can offer.
My practice also includes advanced study in Birth Trauma through Dancy Perinatal. This includes support for both birthing parents and healthcare providers.
In addition, I’ve trained with David Kessler in holding space for those experiencing Grief and Traumatic Loss, and I approach this sacred work with tenderness and respect.
I’m trained at the Intensive level of Natural Lifemanship, a trauma-focused equine-assisted psychotherapy model, and I’m currently working toward full certification. I look forward to incorporating my two miniature horses and miniature donkey into my therapy practice soon, adding a more fuzzy heartfelt and intuitive presence to the healing process.
I also incorporate nature-based practices into my work, having completed training in Therapeutic Nature-Based Interventions through The Somatic Wilderness Therapy Institute. Nature is one of our most powerful allies in healing, and I love weaving it into sessions as a grounding, nurturing resource.
Currently, I’m completing a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training with an emphasis on trauma awareness, through Integrative Yoga Therapy. This adds another layer of somatic support to the work I offer, helping clients reconnect with their bodies in safe and empowering ways.
Whether you’re working through trauma, navigating life transitions, processing grief, or seeking deeper connection to yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and compassion.
I have a deep love, appreciation and excitement for life—a spark that’s always existed within me, but one that has grown and expanded through my own personal healing journey and practices. I find joy and meaning in spending time outdoors, connecting with nature, running, walking, hiking, practicing yoga, spending quality time with family and good friends, reading (I’m a proud lifelong learner), and meditating. Lately, I’ve been nurturing my green thumb and expanding my gardening skills. Each day I am blessed in sharing life, playing, creating, learning and snuggling with my family and caring for our animals and garden.
